The Waste2Energy Global Advantage
The Waste2Energy Global (W2E) Advantage, using International Standards and Frameworks, begins with a clear understanding of each Client's waste challenge, energy requirements and energy demands. ONLY THEN, do we look at the solutions that will best support that Client's unique profile.
Hybrid Model of Energy Generation
W2E prefers the HYBRID MODEL of Energy generation, which includes traditional STEAM turbines and the synthetic GAS turbines, as each has its own strengths and weaknesses, and this approach allows us to balance effectively for varying demands / load levels.
*RDF or Refuse-derived fuel or solid recovered fuel/specified recovered fuel (SRF) is a fuel produced by shredding and dehydrating solid waste (MSW) with a Waste converter technology.
RDF consists largely of combustible components of municipal waste such as plastics and biodegradable waste.
Once we understand the Energy Requirements & demand, then we look at the Energy Generation mix between Steam & Gas Turbines and the types and quantities of Waste streams available for processing.
